Eaglecrest Ski Area

Juneau has the BEST down day skiing in Alaska thanks to Eaglecrest Ski Area and the surrounding backcountry.  If the weather keeps the helicopter on the ground, we can just drive to the mountains!  An easy 20 minute drive from town, Eaglecrest has some amazing inbounds terrain plus an open backcountry boundary policy, which allows for some easy side country laps or backcountry touring. Crowds are non existent, and untracked snow is easy to find.  Guided Eaglecrest and backcountry days are built into our weeklong packages and all of our guests receive discounted lift tickets.
