Alaska Powder Descents is the exclusive helicopter ski and snowboard operator in Juneau, Alaska – our State Capital. We offer a unique combination of classic Alaskan heli ski terrain, a vibrant local community, and the best down day skiing in the State with Eaglecrest Ski Area and the surrounding backcountry.

With over a million acres of permitted terrain, we have options for everyone. From steep film lines to mellow powder runs, our guests can experience new terrain year after year. We are the sole operator in Juneau.
We have the best down day skiing/riding in Alaska with Eaglecrest Ski Area and the surrounding backcountry. Warm up with a couple lift laps, and head to the heli pad when the skies clear!
We operate in partnership with our good friends at Eaglecrest Ski Area – Alaska’s best kept secret for phenomenal terrain and backcountry access.
We partner with Weston Backcountry and offer our guests opportunities to demo Weston snowboards and splitboards.
