Access to one-million acres of Alaskan mountain terrain.
APD is the only heli-ski service in Juneau and operates under a U.S. Forest Service Land Use Permit. Our terrain covers a huge area and offers up unique zones in several different micro-climates. During blue-bird days we will fly over water to the Chilkat Mountain Range bordering Glacier Bay National Park, or head deeper into the icefield to mountains looking out across Atlin, British Columbia. During overcast days we access some of the best tree-skiing in Alaska, with a few descents going down to the ocean.
