Morgan Hebert

APD Team Rider & Pro Snowboarder

Morgan Hebert is a Fairbanks born 25 year old nomadic snowboarder with a huge stoke on winter. Growing up in the heart of Alaska didn’t allow very easy access to the quality of riding you would expect when thinking of this larger than life state. Enduring a dark and frigid winter wasteland in the interior made him have to take the extra initiative to get some decent shredding in. This translated to road trips outside of Fairbanks and even as far out as Valdez to get into the backcountry and earn some good riding. He spearheaded a project where he and a few close friends would go up to the local ski area on down days and build jumps out of hay bales just to have something to ride.

After graduating early he traveled to see what the “lower 48″ might be able to offer. He landed in Tahoe a couple of years later calling Squaw Valley his stomping grounds for 5 winters until the natural sway back to Alaska brought him to Southeast. Fishing and working hard in the summers affords him winters abroad, but he always returns to AK in the spring to ride in Juneau and Haines where he owns property and hopes to one day call home. Locally you can find Morgan up at Eaglecrest with or without the help of lifts and in the backcountry surrounding. His drive to push his riding will continue to be surpassed each season as things tend to progress while his passion for snowboarding remains a strong fire in an already blazing forest.

Look for Morgan in the Northface Masters Tour, Baker Banked Slalom, and Alaska King of the Hill to compete against the best big mountain pro snowboarders in the world…
